Your Room Awaits... "An artisan Zambezi experience"

“A gem on the Zambezi! Gail and Doug have built a very special space on the banks of the Zambezi with a blend of quality and simplicity set in beautiful surroundings and a team who provide a genuine and friendly welcome and service.” - Catherine, June 2017, TripAdvisor

Chundukwa offers a refreshing departure from generic hotel experiences and reflects the labour of artisans. The 5 chalets and family house are individually decorated and designed but all focus on their unique open-fronted layout, offering breathtaking views over the Zambezi. They are designed to sit quietly and comfortably within the natural surroundings. The decor and furniture has been tastefully made by Doug and Gail (the owners) using recycled wood, metal and sustainable reeds. Everything is made locally by our band of tradesmen and women from our local village.
