Available on a sole-use basis, the lodge is an ideal escape for a family or group of friends in search of a luxurious getaway close to nature. Designed to blend in with the Zambezi landscape, the cottage offers outstanding privacy, comfort and space. Soak up the sun around your pool, share an al fresco feast with the whole family or simply unwind amid your secluded, wild garden with a hippo chorus for company.
Stay here on a Fully-Inclusive, Full Board, Dinner Bed and Breakfast or Self-Catering Basis.
The cottage sleeps up to six guests and children of all ages are welcome.

The cottage features two bedrooms downstairs and a loft bedroom upstairs, ideal for older children. Guests will revel in the space - complete with a large living area, swimming pool, a choice of outdoor dining areas, wi-fi, a coffee bar and a fully-equipped kitchen.
“We descended on Chundukwa as a big mad family taking up Chundu cottage and two River Chalets. We went for the catered, all-inclusive package and wow wow wow! We were totally blown away with the thought, effort and love that we received from the entire team. Our stay was littered with sun-kissed Zambezi River moments, beautiful horse rides, lazy pond fishing, happy kiddy chaos, incredible food, and warmth that made us feel utterly enveloped in the luxury. “Spent 3 nights here with friends and it was so amazing. We loved everything! We had our own chef at the cottage. The food could have been served in a 5 star restaurant - it was always delicious and the snacks were yummy as well. One night we ate our dinner near the river and it was magical!
We were so comfortable here we didn't even want to leave on our second day - so we went horseback riding along the Zambezi River, swam and lounged around our lodge. The horses are lovely and we even went back to the stables in the afternoon. Thomas brought us out a big basket of carrots to feed them while we learned all about the horses. All materials provided and used on the lodge are eco-friendly, as the lodge is situated between two waterways (the Zambezi River in front and a series of lagoons behind - home to fish, birds, reptiles and otters to name a few!) The lodge kindly request that guests utilise the provided shampoos, creams and soaps that are organic and environmentally-friendly.

Chundu Cottage is an appropriate family-friendly solution for families with young children. Children 5-12 years pay 50% when sharing with four adults at Chundu Cottage.
